5th Annual Gospel Brunch
Saturday, February 22, 2020
Hopewell Presbyterian Church
Hopewell, NJ

Another sold-our crowd joined us for the 5th annual SSAAM Gospel Brunch on Saturday, February 22, 2020, at the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, in Hopewell, New Jersey!

Eric Gambre'll
It was a fantastic event, which featured violinist Leticia Lewis during the brunch segment of the event. We were then joined by Sister Bertha Morgan (a mainstay of our Gospel Brunches) and three of her amazingly talented children, Pastor Dorian Morgan, Deacon Marla Oliver and Sister Melicia Morgan, in the church sanctuary. We were also blessed to have Charlie Ashton, Music Director of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, and drummer Clarence E. Thompson; both of these talented musicians have been with us since the very first Gospel Brunch.

The climax of the event was Eric Gambre’ll, an award winning gospel recording artist who started directing and teaching a gospel choir at the age of 10. Eric has recorded with renowned Gospel artist, Bobby Jones, and also toured for four years with John P. Kee and the New Life Community Choir. In 2004 Eric, recorded his first album entitled “Live in the Capital City,” from the historic Shiloh Baptist Church in Trenton, New Jersey. While based in Trenton, Eric also hosted local Trenton Radio Station, WIMG, for eight years, where he made history as the number one gospel morning show from 2000 to 2007. His performance at the Gospel Brunch brought the house down!

We would like to extend our thanks to Reverend Melissa Martin and the congregation of the Hopewell Presbyterian Church, who allowed us the use of their dining facilities for the brunch, and beautiful sanctuary for our gospel music performances.

We would also like to thank to all of the volunteers who made this event possible, as well the vendors who contributed, including Antimo’s Italian Kitchen, Sourland Coffee, Foodie Flowers and Hopewell Valley Bistro & Inn.

And a very special thank you to all of you who attended the Gospel Brunch- we are indebted to your support, and hope that you will join us for the next Gospel Brunch and other SSAAM events- our next Camp Meeting is coming up in autumn, and we hope to see you there!
