Catherine Fulmer-Hogan
President
Catherine Fulmer-Hogan (she/her) has over 25 years of professional experience in Finance & Administration and is able to capitalize on those experiences for the benefit of SSAAM. She also serves on the boards of both The Hopewell Museum, where she founded Hopewell Valley Heritage Week in 2018, and Hope Rises Up, where she engages in advocacy work for marginalized groups.

Catherine is a native of the Sourland Region. Her family has been in the region since 1910, but her immediate family made the Sourland Mountain its home in the early 1940s. Presently the region is home to five generations of her family. She serves as historian for her own family whose personal stories add richness to the overall narrative of the region. Catherine has always been interested in local history and has had a particular passion for the area’s African American History. Â
Â
Catherine was raised in a family of artists and musicians and firmly believes that we can not share a complete history of the people of the Sourland region without the inclusion of its culture and art.
