Our very first offering in the Peach Basket Marketplace, the SSAAM Note Card Collection, depicts noted figures in the history of the African American Community in the Sourland Mountain region.
Each set of six notecards contains vintage photographs and descriptive text, curated and composed by SSAAM co-founders, Elaine Buck and Beverly Mills. The collection includes cards dedicated to Sylvia DuBois, the Hubbard Family at Camp Meeting, Mae and Scudder True, the All Stars Baseball Team, Robert Garrett, and Leona Hubbard Stewart. Each set of notecards is lovingly tied together.
